Manufacturing of automotive vehicles is getting complex, which includes several electrical and electronic components are being implemented, for increasing the safety and security of passengers. Automotive electronics components are distributed systems, which can be classified into different domains based on the different domains of application such as engine electronics, chassis electronics, integrated cockpit systems, driver assistance systems, and entertainment systems.
The increasing sales of hybrid and electric vehicles are further expected to propel the global automotive electronics market, with the further addition of a new generation of vehicles being introduced in the automotive electronics industry. The Covid crisis has further exposed the nations vulnerability to the dependence on the global electronics supply chains. India has set an ambitious share of $ 400 billion for the ESDM (Electronic Systems Design & Manufacturing) sector. The road to a successful electronics hardware sector is rough and cannot traverse it without strong policy support
With the above said background we are pleased to inform you that the Tamil Nadu Technology Development & Promotion Centre of CII is organizing the 7th Edition Conference on Automotive Electronics on 27 August 2021 with the theme “Promising Future of India’s Automotive Electronics” between 0930 Hrs – 1730 hrs. This conference is chaired by Mr Suresh D, CEO, Spark Minda Technical Centre and Group CTO Minda Corporation Limited.
