Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in partnership with Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India is hosting the 27th edition of the DST – CII Technology Summit on 16-17 December 2021 (over virtual platform) with The Netherlands, Russia, Brazil and Canada as partner countries.
Technology Summit over a period of more than two decades has been instrumental in providing significant opportunities to forge and foster global technology partnerships. The theme of this year’s summit is the Strategy for New India@75 and Role of Global Collaborations. As India marches towards its 75th year of Independence in 2022, it is important to reflect the technological journey of India in the last 75 years and at the same time, further strengthen global collaborations that will contribute towards achieving the goals set out for New India 2022.
Dr Jitendra Singh, Hon'ble Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India and Mr Focco Vijselaar, Vice Minister, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, the Netherlands have confirmed their kind presence at the Summit.
The summit will be attended by a global pool of technology experts, government leaders, eminent academicians, industry stalwarts and startups from India, the Netherlands, Russia, Brazil, Canada and many other countries to engage in high level technology leadership dialogues during the summit to explore technology & business partnerships and thereby boost innovation, investment and trade.
The focus sectors of the summit include Climate Technologies & Green Economy, Precision Healthcare & Genomics, Advanced Manufacturing & Materials, Mobility, Agriculture & Water Technologies.
